turning off horn

Hi everyone, I purchased a 2011 SR5 several month's ago for my daughter. What I need to find is if any guys know how to turn the horn off when activating or deactivating the alarm.

Hi everyone, I purchased a 2011 SR5 several month's ago for my daughter. What I need to find is if any guys know how to turn the horn off when activating or deactivating the alarm.

If you get the Techstream software (you can find links to it in the forum) and then buy one of those adapters then you can turn off the alarm beeping when you arm and disarm it. I haven't actually done it myself but I'm pretty sure I saw it in there

I got the adapter on ebay for $36 from this guy. Look for a mini VCI adapter

Excuse my simplistic attitude, but why couldn't you just unplug the little horn on the passenger side of the engine bay?

You can also have the dealer do it, my dealer set it up for no charge, also added auto windows down if i hold the unlock button on remote. I did leave the light flash on so i can visually see if am unlocking/locking

check customization in your manual and there are lots of custom settings you can have changed
