TwistedJake's "Keep it mild" Super White 5th Gen Build

Adventured towards the center of the state last week. Ended up driving a little past Dufur to see where the Charles Nelson house once was. Burned down int he Substation Fire a few weeks back.





 
Tackled a few minor mods that I've been wanting to do today. Had a dash cam that has been sitting on my desk for weeks that I finally installed.

Great looking 4Runner Jake. I am wanting to get the LFD crossbars and was wondering how you like them? I see that you have 3-bars and was wondering what made you go with that amount? I am on the fence between 3 and 4 bars.

Nice looking rig. Just started following you on IG. There are times when I think my 285's are overkill. I've been considering dumping my 5100's and Dobinsons coils (3/2" lift) for something a little more subtle like the TRD pro lift.

I picked them up in their scratch and dent sale or whatever it was called. The price was right. I was only going to get two so I could mount a few things up there until I got a full rack but again, price was right so grabbed a 3rd. Didn't seem to effect shipping cost any.

I don't currently keep much up there. 3 will be fine for anything I plan to do. If I wasn't planning on upgrading eventually 4 would be better long term.

P rated mainly because most my driving will be on road. I'm 10k miles into these tires and no regrets. I haven't put them through anything crazy but they've handled everything I've wanted to get through without issue. The added benefit that they roll nice at 80mph on the freeway is nice.

There are times I look at my rig and wish I had shoe horned 285's under there. ROFL. In all honesty, this rig with mild lift and stock size tires will get me anywhere I need to go. Probably keep me from trying to go places I shouldn't.

Can you post some pics showing what parts you used and where/how you mounted them for your RAM x-mount? I think I really like what you've done there.

I will get some pics but it is just a RAM Mount ball mounted to the bezel with a bolt. Simply drill one hole. Piece of cake.
