aside from your name being a fantastic rollercoaster at knotts berry farm...
I think you should look into Skid Row Offroads skid plate for the Tacoma and 4Runner... they want 240 on the web or something but if you got to 4WheelParts (they have retail stores near me... google map to see if you've got one) they ask 210+tax.
I went the store in Lake Forest, CA. they also ship if you'd like to call that location.
check the site though, these plates are tight!

but my real favorite color is gun metal for any car. to bad they didnt make gun metal fat lip 3rd gens
Bodom: ive been looking at them more and more. theres actually one that i found that i liked sooooo much more from a company that custom makes each skid plate for each application, but i cant seem to find them anywhere anymore. plus i dont off road that much, so hardcore skids isnt necessary. but im always willing to take another look :bouncy:

take it from the 2wd 4 cylinder boy, even I want it and will get it... your truck would actually be much better at sporting it, yeah?
I say if you're going to replace it, replace it right, replace it once. i used that logic when my exhaust manifold cracked, got lc performance headers, now my skids smashed, i'm going skid row.

well i just like the ascetics of the taco plate more. plus that other brand that i cant remember to save my life, were pre running skid plates, and meant for desert runner style trucks. from what i saw, pretty well reinforced and meant to take a beating
