TBH if you already have those round housings up there, I would probably convert those to HID and use a bar on the bumper for more of a flood light. You really want a tighter spot pattern from the roof, my combo beam bar on the roof is "good" but could be better if the beam was tighter. My KC daylighters converted HID on my ditch light brackets are awesome. Those things throw light so far down the road while the LEDs fill it in up close, but the LED bar is more like "extended headlights"

im interested in seeing how the bigger throttle will work on the vehicle. Any particular reason why you are going to the larger throttle?

i know on some vehicles, a larger throttle body can make the engine have crisper throttle response and sometimes even power gains too. I'm not really expecting to see a huge power gain; if any at all. I do want to see if it'll make a crisper throttle response though.

Havent updated this thread in a while. been a super busy summer. anyways, a lot has happened. i put a 3" 5100's + ome spring lift. I also got new tires; toyo open country at 265/75r16. also installed total chaos uca as well. and i did a few other small things.





I spent my summer in idaho and moved to washington so i can get my welding degree. now that im in washington, i finally was able to pick up a 4WD 4th Gen T4R. I ended up getting a 2007 Limited 4WD. I really wanted a sport, but I settled for a limited, because i knew it would be easier to swap out the new suspension on the 03 with a limited than a sport. plus it has the wiring for step lights, now i can get sliders and hook up some led courtesy lights. this concludes the 2003 SR5 2WD Build thread. I will be making a new thread for my 2007 Limited 4WD soon.

Since Im in college, that means there are partys and that leads to drunk people. Since Im the one with the suv in my group of friends, Im usually the DD by personal preference. Anyways, as i was saying, Im not a fan of people throwing up in my rig, so I usually put the super drunk people in the back of my rig (only when necessary) and the problem ive run into is that the person in the back of the rig cant get out until someone opens the hatch. so i decided to install a button to allow the person in the back of the rig to get out once the doors are unlocked.

All i did was wire in a normally open push button switch in parallel with the button on the tailgate. so when the button gets pushed it opens the hatch just like pressing the outside button. here are a few photos of the button installed and a video of it.
