Yes. But, one of the injectors in Tyrone went south. So the injectors from witch hunter were actually the ones for my green '00 SR5 I had serviced. So I can't really compare before and after.

Honestly, I never looked at any of the PO's stuff. Glad to know it does have a new clutch though. That clutch was better than the one in my '99 is.

Newish. Replaced 50k miles ago.
I need to go through all the receipts to figure out what was replaced when. They have receipts dating back to 06 so I'm not exactly looking forward to it.
The funniest thing so far was that their receipt from GeekSquad for the installation of some Sony head unit made a note of the fact that the car was brought in with an ABS light.
Maybe it's just me, but if I had an ABS light that was on, I'd be fixing that before shopping for a new audio system.

Haha, I fixed the ABS light when I got it home. Simple fix, wheel speed sensor was unplugged. But yeah, some people have their priorities messed up.

Yeah, that bezel did take a bit of a beating. I was just happy that nobody had ever hacked the wiring harness up.
Are you going to need any spacers or anything with that size? I was thinking of 265/75/16 but worried it will look small with the lift. I would like 33's but concerned about lose of power as folks mention.

It's over exaggerated how much power you actually lose. The loss is minimal, as long as you remember your 4Runner isn't a super car.

You don't even have 33's, plus yours is a 5 speed. :ybrick: Just kidding, but I would go with the 33's. I went with 32's and while I'm happy with the power and mileage, I will be bumping up to 33's next summer.

I've had some very minor rub when doing a hard turning up hill, but thats the only case.

I actually test fit 33's to see if I could use them with 2 inches of lift. On the street it was fine. As soon as I started flexing though, nope.
That is what I was wondering. For the most part, I'll take it off road under 5 times a year and it won't really be driven all that much.
I really don't want to get into BL's or spacers....hmmm....decisions, decisions.

Glad to see my old 4runner is doing well, before I had my issues with it I was debating the black wheels on black car look, turned out great. Also, just a side comment, the engine is not original to the car. It was swapped in after 50k, so the engine actually only has about 170k on it.

I'll post any updates for major stuff - but really nothing big planned.
Still not happy with how it shifts into 1st when the tranny is cold. It's not a big deal, need to drive half a block before I can shift into 1st with the engine running, so I'm going to be putting in new fluids into the trans. Since I'm down there I'll do the and diff fluids as well. Will also replacing the shifter socket, clutch pedal washer - and taco antenna.
Oh and I'm going to have to get a doggie step. (The girl is too clumsy and the boy just had ACL surgery on the left, and the right will be in October. Rescue dogs are bigger money pits than cars!)
But that's that for now. Most of my disposable money is getting sunk into getting a 1987 BMW E30 turned into a track car for Chumpcar 24H endurance racing so anything beyond maintenance for the 4Runner is going to have to wait. In fact - the 4Runner itself was only bought because it is going to be towing the E30 when it's not ferrying the dogs to the park.
Well, I hope you love it for a longer period than both myself and pitbull did. It is a great 4runner that just needs a little love and if it weren't my second car in a row that was full of issues, I am sure I would have sorted it out. Good luck, hope to see a thread full of pictures so I can keep track of it!
Also, the tic tacks were mine, not too old so you should be good on those, guess I forgot to clean those out. Lots of mint tic tacks. Lots.

Well, Tyrone pissed himself again...
Got off the highway and hear a "POP" - followed by the unmistakable smell of coolant.
Made it to a nearby parking lot and left him there to cool off in a puddle of coolant.
Here's the thing, the radiator, hose in and out are cold. Looks like there is no circulation.
I'll have to figure out what to do once I limp the few miles left to get home.
For now, thinking radiator and water pump?
Got off the highway and hear a "POP" - followed by the unmistakable smell of coolant.
