Has anyone thought about reaching out to the dealership to find out the story behind it? I suspect that it's a movie or advertisement car of some sort since the interior was done and wouldn't be shown in a movie/advert. If it was a show car the interior would NOT be cloth... I suspect it would have been a weathered leather with brass rivets.
They are asking $38,980, even with only 227 miles on it, is absolutely absurd though. If you wanted to revert it back to a normal looking T4R you'd have to do a LOT of work and the resale would be absolute crap. $5-10K maybe.
