Um... is there such thing as a window screen?

I'm planning on some upcoming trips, and rather than pitching a tent, I might lay down the seats and sleep in the back. But I'd like some fresh air without the bugs, so is there such a thing as a window screen for the back hatch window or maybe the sunroof? I'm imagining one that kinda "springs open" like those windshield sun guards. Anyone know of such a product? (anyone want to go into business with me to make one if it doesn't exist? Lol :cheers: :argue:

Hey, that's way too easy and affordable. I thought we were all about paying unnecessary amounts of money for extra goodies for our trucks.

That's awesome! I'll have to make one (though I'd probably want to use the same mesh as my camping tent rather than window screen mesh (no particular reason, just feel like it would be lighter and more flexible/stowable).

Works like a charm, hot or cold as long as it doesn't rain.

if you want to get real fancy, get a long thin strips of the fridge door magnet and then loop the end of the screen fabric on each side and sew it into the loop and cut to size. then you wouldn't have to keep the whole roll

I also did this and it worked perfectly. Word of advice though, don't cheap out on the magnets!
