100% rust free option #1 move the flip out of the mid west.

99.9% option #2 park it over winter and buy a beater with a heater.

***% option #3 (best option) keep it clean after each storm and eventually trade it to some shmuck living in the south who don’t know any better.

If you already have rust and want to stop it, POR15 is the best.

If you don’t have rust and want to prevent it, use Fluid Film.

After reading this whole thread and doing plenty of online research this seems to be the best advice. I bought mine used here in the North East and the rust isn't terrible, yet! Plan on going to town with POR15 when the weather warms but wish the PO had used fluid film.
