Universal floor mats for 01 4Runner

Are there any universal rubber floor mats that fit best for the 2001 4Runner? I know Costco/BJ's/Target have some but I didn't know if there was a certain brand/model that fit better than others.

besides spending the money on Weathertech or Husky are there any cheaper options that would be better than the Costco/BJ's universal fit?

I mainly need for the driver/passenger, then the rear, and already have the cargo liner.

They came with the truck when we got it but I have husky floor mats like the ones you find at wal mart and they are awesome and are very strong

My other question is should I stick with tan or go to black? It's a black 4Runner with tan leather and tan carpet. I've always gone with tan rubber mats.

Ya know I have been back and forth with this and I haven't made the purchase but there is a company (I'LL HAVE FIND THE SITE AGAIN) that makes a exact fit vinyl floor replacement that u can install and covers the entire floor in vinyl which would replace the carpet I believe the cost was $175 which I know is pricey compared to floor mat but I did get to see this installed in a rig and it looked amazing and factory looking.

Thanks. I don't think I'll have my 4Runner for more than another year or so, so I didn't want to spend too much, but the ones I have now must be replaced. I'm thinking either just replace the front ones with Husky ($86), or get another set of "universal" mats for cheaper. How would black ones look with tan interior?

I personally did a grey set of Michelin brand but a black would look good.

I purchased some from Walmart for $30 I think it was. They fit relatively well, after cutting some sections out they actually follow the contours of the floor pretty well. I'll see if I can get you the brand and some pictures. They're by no means anything compared to weathertech or husky liners but I think they work well for $30.

I used the large mats from O'Reilly's. They fit great and no need to cut them. The grey color matches the interior good too.

Trying to find a photo...

I paid $20 for this 4-piece set from Sam's Club and have been surprisingly happy with them.

Automotive Floor Mats - 4 pc. set - Sam's Club

They are flexible enough to contour to the floorboard, yet stiff enough to stay in place and keep snow/mud in its place. They don't bunch up or shift around. They also matched my interior color very well.

I was skeptical at just $20, but now I love 'em.

New member here, recently purchased a 4runner with no floor mats.

Picked these up at sears for $9.99. In case others are interested:

Rears are to small but the front fit good.
