Updated Denver Toyota recommended mechanics?

Hey all,

I've just about lost my patience with the shop I've been taking my 4Runner(s) to for the past 9 years (Comprehensive Car Care). Their prices are fair but they have outright lied to me one too many times about when work is and isn't being done on my truck, and the labor hours required for certain jobs.

I do about 90% of the work on my truck myself, but things like LCA bushings I take it to shops because I don't have a bushing press, etc. I'm looking for recommendations (based on first-hand experience) of shops in Denver city-limits.

I've seen the older threads, but I think we could use a refresher thread. ATLR is too far from me now (but I had good experiences with that guy before), and Toy Doctors overcharge.

I've had good luck with Pickering's Auto Service in Lakewood for my old Jeep. They also have an Arvada shop. The 4Runner only has 25,000 miles and is under warranty, so it still goes to the dealer (Stevinson West).

Toyexus on Broadway has a great reputation. Their prices are about the same as the dealer charges. At least they were when I called for a quote last year.

Dealer prices aren't a good thing though. lol Sounds like I'll just have to wing it next time or drive out to ATLR.
