Now that I have more info on the bumper cones it seems you can get some rattling back there if you leave them out so mine are staying in. :-D

I'm definitely glad I left mine in then considering I took all of the carpet out and Hercu-lined the back of my rig. The days of vacuuming out my blonde lab's hair is GONE and I love it.

Those are some great shots and you'll get more and more comfortable. I know it's a hard concept to grasp but that bike wants to stand up on it's own. You'll be amazed just how far off you can get yourself and still keep the bike up. A little pointer you can practice in a corner, just tipping your head to the inside of the corner makes a big difference; it weighs @ 8lbs afterall.

Front: I had planned on going with the toytec/eibach 3" lift coils. When I ordered them from toytec turns out they were back ordered so they called me and sent a set of the 883's instead. Apparently they have similar spring rates and they gave me the same price so a great deal.

For shocks I went a little off the reservation and got Rancho 5000s. I know some people like them and some don't. I choose the RS5762 up front. After a call to Rancho I learned that the RS5762 for the 4cyl has the same exact valving as the RS5763 for the V6 but uses a topout bumper instead of a top out spring giving it almost 2" of added travel for the lift up front. The rears are a set of RS5208 which is for the LC to match my LC springs w/ added travel out back too.

So after 2 years of running them I'm finally giving up on the Rancho 5000 shocks. The ride was ok to begin with but 2 years and 25k later it is pretty harsh again. Almost like it was before I took off the spacer lift the previous owner put on.

I finally blew my front axle boots/seals so while I'm putting in new axles and boots I plan to upgrade to the OME 90004 shocks. Since I have the OME 883 coils that is the recommended shock for better ride.

Tried the inexpensive route and not happy with it. Hope this comes out better...

For the rear I am going to stick with the Rancho Land Cruiser rear shocks. Once I get the front sorted out we'll see how the rear feels. If needed I'll go to a better rear shock.

I would have done the diff drop kit before but since the previous owner had been running a spacer kit for so long I figured it wouldn't make much difference if I did it then or waited for them to fail.

Will see how it comes out and report back! :lever:
