Upgrading to 06-09 projector headlights, TYC vs OEM

So I'm in the process of getting my old and yellowed headlamps upgraded to the 06-09 projectors. I ordered aftermarket TYC headlamps (NSF certified) and the headlight trim from rock auto, and the parking/signal connectors from partznet. I was wondering if anyone had done a comparison with the light output with OEM vs the TYC projectors and how the quality compares between the two. I'll be putting in HIDs in the projectors.

I'm thinking I should have just bought all OEM parts to begin with as I'm returning the unpainted trim pieces and ordering the painted OEM trim pieces. I just hope I don't have issues with the TYC part once it's installed.
