US or Canadian bug shield?

ask the service reps at the dealerships. Mine had a whole variety to choose from. Just complain that the hood deflector "flaps in the wind" and ask for some rubber bumpers to help solve the problem. Ask for the big ones... two of them. I'll take some pics of where I put them.

I just ordered one from Carson Toyota out of CA. I believe their website is newtoyotaparts.com I got the hood protector for $79 + $10 S/H. The cheapest I found on the web and next day shipping. See link below. Mine should be here Friday.

Guys I did the bug shield thing for many years on my wifes cars since she drives mainly highway and about 20,000 miles a year. When we got her 06 I made up my mind to try the 3m clear bra, I had the entire front end done and a qtr of the entire hood and fenders. The windshield is starting to nick up so I know the driver has'nt changed, but not a paint chip anywhere on the front. Money well spent for me anyways.

what differentiates the canadian from the US version? I followed this link:

i found out that if i call my stealership and ask them to order sku #00137162199059 from Toyota Associated Products, i will get the right thing... hopefully.. They get their stuff from Warren Dist. which is in Canada.

Hey everybody! Just got my first 4runner 3 days ago, its an 04. I pretty much love it to death... This is my first car purchase ever, so I want to protect my investment while keeping its hellaciously badass looks. I like the way the canadian bug shield looks... but herein lies my dilemma. My 4runner is white... I've searched and searched but couldn't find and decent pictures(or whole pictures for that matter) of a white 4runner with it installed. Do you guys think that its deeply contrasted looks would deter from my 4runner's beauty?

I really like mine! I've had it for about 3months and mine is white so it gives my truck a nice aggressive contrasted look. I did get vibrations on mine really bad around 70mph, but I fixed it by adding 2 more bumpers. Here is a link to the thread with pics of how I fixed it.
