USA SPEC ipod interface

I have one installed in my '02, it was pretty much plug and play from what I remember  I use it on my iPhone and discovered that the phone will initially say "accessory connected" or something close to that. If I press the button on the stereo for disc 6, it releases the iPhone's screen so I can use it. It'll play not only the ipod part, but also Pandora, I Heart Radio, etc. Charges it pretty quickly, too

Has anyone used this before? I'm wondering if it should be a straight forward install into a stock radio. Let me know before I buy. Thanks!
USA SPEC: iPod Interfaces

I picked up one for the g/f's Honda at SEMA, and first thing I found is that it wouldn't work w/ her car since she had the in dash changer. I hooked it up to a buddies car, and it wouldn't work at all. Called them and found out the SEMA displays were "non working display only" and shouldn't have been sold. Even with out a receipt, they exchanged it for me no problem.

New one worked well (in my buddies car). Still have it floating around if anyone has an older Honda as a daily or something.

Cool! I was worried about it needing a separate adapter or something.

So I'm hoping to plug it into my iPhone 4s with a case. Did you find the plug that the USA SPEC comes with to plug into the iPhone not work when using a case?
