USA Spec Pa15-Toy Ipod Adapter

I've been considering getting the USA spec Ipod Adapater for my 03 4unner with premium sound/6 cd-changer, but I can't seem to find out if I will still be able to use my cd player. It seems from all my research that the cd changer itself will not be available due to the way the adapter hooks up, but will I still be able to play a cd one a at a time? Anyone have this installed? I don't want to completely lose the ability to play cd's, just to have my ipod hooked up. Thanks!!!

I have 2003 4Runner with the same sound. I had pa15-toy about a year now so I can tell that you can still use your cd changer without a problem. Once you push cd buttom, it will display cd and cd1. cd mode is regular your cd changer and cd1 is pa15-toy. However, they are not playing simultaneously so you have to switch one at at time. Hope this helps.
