USB Format problem

This is my first post. I've been reading the forums for a while and you all helped me a lot in the buying process. I brought home my Salsa Red SR5 last friday and I couldn't be happier.

One of the features I was looking forward to was the USB port and having all my music on a flashdrive in the glovebox.
Problem is it seems that any music that I've purchased off of Itunes (M4p files) are not recognized by the radio. Does anybody have an easy way around this.

I realize I can stream the music from my Iphone but I'd rather use the flashdrive.

Once I get some good pics I'll post them in the picture thread I've noticed Salsa Red isn't the most popular color.

I believe the manual lists WMA and MP3 files as the only supported fomat. You could just plug your iPhone in. Or use an iPod. I'm pretty sure that the only devices that will play the M4p (protected mp3) files is an iPod.

Go into itunes, right click and click "convert to mp3". You should be able to make mp3 versions out of your downloaded itunes files now that apple has ditched their stupid digital media rights crap.
