Do you guys ever see used tube or steel plate bumpers ever come up from sale here or else where? My buddy who has a jeep just scored front and rear bumpers with a winch for 500.00. I was wondering if anyone else have scored similar deals online.

They pop up occasionally on here, usually too much for me to want to spend. I purchased a rear tube bumper on Craigslist for $180 but haven't found any front ones yet. Once a week, I try and check all craigslist listing within 3-4 hours hoping to get lucky. If you aren't in any immediate need, I recommend just waiting and lurking.

Yep. Jeeps outnumber 4Runner 10 to 1 (or more). Even new stuff is cheap for Jeeps since there is so much volume. 4Runner bumpers (or any off-road goodies) are very hard to find used.

even in the 4runner family, the 3rd gen is the bastard child. I go to checkout MODs, i see 1st gen, 2nd gen, 4th gen, taco.....wtf was the 3rd gen an accident or something?

Haha! No I found it on craigslist on accident and bought it for 350. 4xinovation had black friday sale on their bumper 500-600. Sale over now.

Not mine, but shipping through Fastenal is pretty reasonable.

I would already own it, however the one he is selling is the "fender flare width" version which is a little wider than the one pictured (on the 4runner) and my 4runner doesn't have flares...

I wish there was a way to search an entire state on craigslist. I just want to search all of california or all of nevada.
