V6 Flowmaster without rear resonator.

I got a 50 series SUV put on the other day and removed the rear resonator with exhaust routed to side exit. I love the sound but my wife not so much.
Will adding the rear resonator back on with rear exit make it quiter? I've read that the resonator on these trucks don't do much, but with an aftermarket unit it may differ.
Anyone else with this setup or similar got any input?

Thanks

i go with a different brand of muffler, the bigger the muffler, the quieter it'll be.
but having a resonator at the end of muffler might not help, try it before the muffler, my cat back has it before the muffler.

Thanks. I bought this one because it was the SUV version of the 50 series. Its a bit thicker and bigger than the normal 50 series.
After a few days of driving it my wife is getting used to it lol. The only thing I dont like about this muffler is that it has a slight drone at about 1500-2500rpms. Other than that I like it.

the drone is normal, if you did a super 44 or 40 series, its even louder.
