Add me to the list?
After having my truck randomly overheating last week, I started looking into the cause and I just took it to the dealer for a quick check and they report it Failed the Block Test and there is indication of a HG leak.
I've been hearing the "waterfall" sound for almost a year, but have not had any other issues.
It currently drives fine, but i don't know how fast it will be burning off coolant.
Does anyone have suggestion on a shop in the San Diego, CA area that I can take my truck to? Anyone in SD have their HG replaced?
P.S. Don't have all the details on me, but Truck is 2005 V6, just over 120K miles.
Update with info:
Year: 2005
Production Date: 03/05
4x2
Mileage of failure: 120K (when checked and failed Block Test - I've heard the "waterfall" at start up for almost a year, 10K miles ago)
Cylinder # that leaked: Don't know yet
11th digit of VIN: 8
EIN: will check and update
