V8 conversion

Good lord people. Easy on the mods here...

Am I the only person who thinks that its possible someone who got posts edited on two different forums with different mods, who left disgruntled from both forums, just ''may'' have been at fault, and/or over-reacted???

I'm just saying, don't blame the mods that keep this forum going.....
 
I don't know what he did on the other forum, but I know for sure that the posts that were tampered with here had nothing bad in them.

No, and I concur with Clemson. Nothing even borderline. I think that it's what made Singtoe so upset. It was unjustified. It was probably something political. I know some things he did on yotatech were bannable based on their rules. Maybe the two sites have some of the same moderators. Idk. I don't think anything is going to change so it's not really worth rehashing IMO. Stinks though because he was a valuable voice and resource.

Coincidentally, around the same time he was censored here, the moderator from the other forum he had trouble with made a visit to T4R. My posts were erased as well, along with others. Hate such a valuable guy left the forum.

The Admin (not mods) has the website setup so mods can edit posts -without leaving a trail- such as "last edited by xxx".

I dont think that is a good policy and it is the opposite of how most forums work.

Anonymous mod editing should have never been turned on.

PM him if you really need to, but if he left the forum, then lets just leave him to it. I wish he were still here, but I wouldn't want to harass him about that decision either; he had his reasons.
 
I did not know that such an uproar would happen. I appreciate every ones kind comments and hope the censorship stuff was noted and maybe improved for future corrections....
 
What a waste of time and money. If the 4runner was designed to take a V8, they would have put one in it from the factory. I'm sure it is now a death trap. I'm glad I don't live near you and don't have to worry about it running into me.

Who else here was going to give lucid and logical AC repair advice? Or post pics of a 5VZ being hauled off on a Lumina trunk (Impala was it)?

If Gerdo had been serious, I would have found him and personally pulled out that new fuel pump that eradicated his long crank problem. But he is correct in profiling most NC drivers as dangerous.
