V8 conversion

Splice Low side AC line - V8 to 4runner evaporator
Need to move fuel filter away from Cat

Need to Wire

Body to ECM
Body to Motor
Fuel Pump Resister
electric fans
Cruise control to ECM
Instrument cluster to body
Instrument cluster to ECM
Transponder key
transfercase to 4runner's 4x4 ECU
Evap
 
Making my Air intake.

After the disappointment with the Ebay air intake, I forged on and decided to use it.

I could not fit the Sequoia Intake assemble in the stock location because it is just to big. The 4Runner Air cleaner assemble had the intake coming in at the wrong angle. Just not enough room to manipulate the intake hose from the engine to the housing.

I could have just stuck a filter on the end of the MAF sensor but that would look to ricey (as if my radiator wasn't ricey enough).

Anywho, This what i did.

I took the stock Sequoia Air filter box

Actually.....looks pretty clean man! BTW, if you want to stear away from "Ricey", you could just paint that carbon fiber a flat black???

I personally like the carbon fiber.....but to each his own! :)

I miss my ride. My work is kicking my butt though. I have been getting home around 8:00 and have been too tired to mess around after work. Yesterday, I had to cook and host a birthday party so it was shot for wrenching in the garage.

I have been studying the wire diagrams and have everything figured out (I think).

Only hick ups I see.

The Sequoia has a transponder in the key and it might have to be programmed to the transponder in my 4runner key or If I can't get it to program, I might have to use the Sequoia Key and locks in my 4runner.

Well see when that bridge comes.

I didn't think 4runners had a transponder(my family 02 doesn't and neither does my 96)? am I wrong or did I just misunderstand your post?
 
I wonder if you can temporarily hook up the Sequoia ignition lock, use the Sequoia key to begin the new key initiation, then switch to the 4Runner lock and key to finish the sequence? (If it get's to that.)
 
I'm curious to see what the mpg's will be like. I love this motor in my Sequoia so I could only imagine I'd love it in my lighter 4Runner too!
