Something I have noticed without fail is I can get at least 1 MPG better on the highway when I run between 70 to 75 vs 60 to 65. I believe it is the torque converter or such. My 2004 was the same exact way.
Last month I was driving from St.Augustine to Atlanta. I filled up when I left. From the start heading north on 95 I was averaging 19.5 via the ECM. As soon as I got onto I-16 west my mileage dropped like a lead weight. It dropped down to 16 pretty quick. Same speed on both interstates. A little head wind I guess will really hurt this pig!

Something I noticed recently was my indicated speed. I downloaded an app that shows my speed via GPS and I found that my vehicles indicated speed was about 5mph faster than what the GPS showed. So when It looked like I I was going 55mph I was actually going about 60mph. So naturally I just slowed down and watched my rpm. Keeping my rpm around 1500-1700 really helped me let off the gas and improve gas mileage, I'm sure you all know this but thought I would share my experience.

My truck is 100% completely stock, no modifications other than new Michelin Defender tires.
My plans are to replace the plugs, o2 sensors, air filter, and remove that other filter people talk about.

5.. Type of Driver? Aggressive, when the cops aren't around, or when they are already chasing me.

7.. Your average MPG: on board computer says 15.1 but corrected for tire size should be slightly better.
When it's really hoggin, getting less than 300 miles to the tank sucks.
