Just a suggestion, but look into a Uniden R3.
No arrows, which I agree are nice, but a superior RD in all respects to a V1.
V1 needs to get with the program and have the unit have GPS. Depending on your cell for GPS and custom config is just lame.
I went through this a couple years ago with a V1 and R3. I had both and liked the R3 more for many reasons.
At the end of the day, I sold them as the false alerts are just too many no matter how good the filters are and whatever customization you do. BSM, DCC, autonomous braking, etc. and all the other latest safety technology (that is working it's way down to all new cars now) wreaks havoc with RDs.

Yes mother.
LOL I'm just an old fart I guess. I even drive with my radio volume down.
After the lift and 285's I notice my self driving even slower too. At least I drive in the slow lane.

Two things.
1. Rakuten has R3 on sale for $288: Uniden R3 Extreme Long Range Radar Laser Detector $288 (orig. $400)
2. V1 is "temporary out of stock"...i am not updated with these things...is that normal for them? Or is V2 coming out soon??

That is a great price for the R3. Demand was stupid high in 2017/18 and I was happy to get one for $350 with a 15* off eBay coupon.
Lots of talk in the above time frame about an updated V1 so that might be it.
My guess is V1 was getting their lunch eaten by the likes of Uniden and others,, and the arrow patent expiring, that those just might stop them from resting on their laurels.
