I am up and running on AT&T. I had them for my old, non-Toyota vehicle prior to trade-in, just gave the VIN when I thought I’d have to cancel and they said it would work on the new Toyota, too. It did!
I prefer having a carrier different from my cell provider so it’s like I have both networks at my disposal. The last few iPhone models allow you to use WiFi Calling and you can switch to/from WiFi without dropping your call.
Android might have the same, haven’t used one since 2011 LOL.
