I just had the Viper 791 installed on my 2005 Runner and want to know if there is anyone that did anything else other than the standard isntall...

Did you get the battery backup option? or the "pain" siren in the vehicle? I think you can also get them to wire up the back window to go up/down.
How much for everything? And where did you get it done?

I tried to have him wire it up so he could get the back window to come down but he needed the BCM layout and I could not get it for him. I have a friend who is a macanic and he could not even get the BCM layout from the dealer. So if anyone has the BCM layout please let me know...
I got it at Tweeter in MD and it was about $500 total..

I got it at the Owings Mills store. I use to goto the Towson store but the guy that installs my system went to the Owings Mills store. He is the only one that works on my system.. Ask for Dave the car audio installer. Tell him John with the black runner sent ya..here is what he did to my tacoma...

I had the Tweeters in Rockville install a sub and amp in my car and they did a good job also. I went to the Tweeters in Tysons the other day and the guy told be that they were able to install the older model Eclipse navigation system flush with the dash for the JBL system. He said it took a lot of customized work to do it, and the guy was really familar with the JBL 10 speaker system. I'm leaning on having them install the Eclipse unit when I'm finally able to get my hands on one. Too bad Tweeter doesn't carry Eclipse products anymore.

Tweeter is my Fav store, I spent over $10,000 there the past couple of years. I am a big fan of JL Audio and seeing that they are the only ones that carry JL in my area I have no choice but to goto them, but in any case the guy that works on my systems is the best I have seen. I also like the comps they have in the summer. I am hoping that I get my system isntalled by the 1st comp this summer...

Yes I was there, but I did not get the chance to compete. I got there at 12:15, 15 minutes late to register. So I just hung around. I was behind the huge monster truck, in front of the tweeter store. I plan on getting that system installed in the Runner with a few additions, so I will be ready next comp...
