Visor Warning advertisement removal?

Does anyone remove the warning advertisements on the visor? I would like to clean it up and take them off. They're not much help really, half of it is foreign.. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has, and it you needed adhesive remove or anything? It almost looks like it glued on, so I don't want to attempt to take it off and mar it.. thanks!

Is your visor vinyl or fabric wrapped? The 4th gen with side airbags has the lighted vanity mirrors are vinyl wrapped. I don't know if the unlit vanity mirror visors are fabric wrapped or not.

On the Tacoma's with them being fabric wrapped, I've read a lot of them use a hair dryer on the label and then peeled it off. It leaves a bit of a mark of where the label used to be. Haven't heard of anyone successfully removing the label from a vinyl visor.

yea, mine is the vinyl.. doesn't sound like something I want to try then..

I think the car company was mandated to leave a wanrning label of somekind, either by themselves or by an outside source enforcing it. I left mine on cuz id rather have the original sticker there rather than crud it leaves behind, or even do damage to the visor. Hell, i still got the lil plastic yellow tab thats attached to the glove box still there! Granted, i folded it up inside, but i sure didnt rip it off!

yeah I tried to remove mine from the vinyl and had no luck. I left a small dimple where the vinyl stretched from being heated and trying to get a razor blade under the sticker to no avail. It's not too noticeable, but I didn't get the sticker off and if I'd kept trying it would've been bigger.

:lol: that's exactly how I left the passenger airbag tag on mine after I took it home from the dealer. Flipped it inside the glove box, out of sight, out of mind.
