Nice ride! Love that color, I'm shopping for a Limited in it. Shopping so far, I have not found any deals or any rebates for the 4runner. I find that odd considering we are half way through the year and it's refresh is next. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I could use some input on what kinda deals they are working. Maybe the sales are stellar so no need for discounts? Lol

The 4Runner sells every unit that gets shipped here. No advertised rebates or discounts. Normally you can get 5-10% off sticker price when dealing though.
Mike - I'm in the Madison/Harvest area outside of Huntsville.
Mods are going to have to be in stages.
Getting the Trail pushed the edge of the short term budget.
So its going to have to stay stock for the immediate future.
Phase 1 : Getting the 4Runner - done.
Yes, I could have probably just gotten an SR5 to meet my immediate needs.
But I REALLY liked the look of the Trail, and there will never be any worries about buyers remorse, as I got the KDSS option I wanted.
Bottom line, I got what I wanted, in the color I wanted, for what I consider a decent deal.
So I have no complaints :biggrin2:
Phase 2: Getting some more off-road experience.
Going to be working on that with my brother in law and nephew.
Phase 3 : Sliders
Need something that can also act as a step.
The wife can get in ok, but is only around 5' 2" so this would help.
Hell, I'm only 5' 5" so it would help me too.
Phase 4: Lift

Congrats! I got mine in 2009 and didn't have the time to wait for a KDSS/Nav package. Also moved to CA and learned that my taxes on the car would cost more than the KDSS/Nav so I got a regular TE without it. I've always regretted it.
The on-road performance is better with the thicker sway bars but I haven't really been offroading as much as I thought I would so I shouldn't miss having the KDSS.
