Thought I'd post this since I was unable to find any information on it here or elsewhere. I was unsure of the difference and didn't want to buy a used one for a 4.7L V8 hoping it would fit.
I emailed Volant regarding the 2 models of CAIs they list for 4.7L V8 4runners that being model#18947 for 99-04 4.7L V8s and model#18747 for 05-08 4.7L V8.
Turns out the only difference is in the port for the MAF sensor. The 18947 is made for the round sensor and the 18747 is a rectangle sensor.
