I ran this expo trip the weekend of July 8-10th! It was an amazing trip to see quite a bit of CO that I haven't gotten a chance to explore yet.

New front housing to replace my cracked front housing from racing out at Penrose last October! Ended up with the Tacoma width so 5" wider.

Picked up this spare frame and body (with title) for $300! Will be swapping a fresh body on my 4Runner next winter.

It's a Trail Gear Tacoma width front housing. I will buy a rear IFS housing in a couple weeks and replace the cracked rear housing too. I've toasted 2 stock rear housings so I'm done with stock housings. I will remove the 3" of wheel spacers on the front and put them on the rear to get close to the front width. I'm excited about the extra width!

Why I'm upgrading the housing. I can't believe those 33 year old welds failed and the last 9 years have been on 39.5's tires. Toyota better step up their welding ound:ound:


At least the perch welds broke clean and didn't tear open the stock housing. I'll be able to weld the perch back on and it will be as good as new. Maybe use it in a different project someday or sell it.

Spent last Saturday tearing apart the front axle. Probably torn this thing apart 25 times in the last 10 years.
