Volks & pizza cutters

Thinking of going with some Volk TE37, 17" x 6.5" & 255/75/17 BFG KO2 pizza cutters. Just curious, if anyone used this wheel/tire combo ?

OK, decided to only run the pizza cutters on OEM SR5 wheels for winter driving . (transmission downshifts too much because of the ring/pinion ratio) Now I am considering buying Volk TE37XT M Specs in size 17 x 8" & mount OEM size BFG AT KO2's (6 ply) for spring, summer & fall. Obviously a lot of money, but I am hoping that I gain back 1 MPG or more of fuel savings to off set the $.

Any opinions ?

I have DuraTrac and KO's in those sizes. The DT for winter, the KO's the rest of the year. The difference in gas costs for me due to the MPG hit is about $150 per year. It would take 5-6 years to offset the tire cost with the MPG savings and by then the tires would be worn out. Revel in the pizza cutter goodness and don't sweat 1 MPG.

Thanks for the reply. I have decided to save my cash & not buy the Volks. Gonna' continue to run the 6 ply BFG KO2's (265/70/17) on my TRD OR wheels for the spring, summer & fall and the SL Duratracs 255/75/17 on the SR5 wheels in the winter.

Out of curiosity, why not run the BFG KO2 in the winter also? Both the Duratracs and KO2 are 3PMSF rated. The Duratracs are slightly narrower which should help in the snow, but the width difference is pretty small so I wouldn't expect a huge improvement...

I did run the BFG KO2's last winter & they did perfectly fine. But I do like the 255/75/17 Duratracs on the skinnier 7" wide wheel for driving in the snow better.
