Does this product work with the 4th gen?

I know this thread is a bit old, but has anyone tested any of the boosters with something like a RedArc BCDC1225D for a dual battery system? They do some magic to provide the 14.7v to the aux battery, but I'm wondering if tweaking the alternator output has any negative affect on them/their math. Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply, but the input voltage range for the Redarc BCDC is 9 to 32v. The output voltage is not dependent on the input voltage. The booster will have no effect on the output of the BCDC.

Is this due to the fitment in the fuse box or is it not setup to work with the 4th gens.

Just curious as it seems a lot of the other ones are compatible across different gens.

I went with the Dirty Parts offering as I have not heard anything back from him, and checking the arclight website periodically, it appears he hasn't made any recently. I'm just hoping he is doing OK at this point. I would still love to have one and then use the Dirty Parts booster as a back up. The switchable feature is something I really wanted.

I'm waiting for Arclight setup as well. They are sold out. I'm not sure if GM diode is a way to go on this, also it is not as cheap as some one advertised earlier. Does anyone knows when Arclight will have these in stock?

As someone who has used both...
Both work, but the Arclight is way better, I get more amps out of that system than I did on the GM. Plus the Arclight can be switched down or off.

While I waited for a new batch I did the GM one...

I keep mine on the middle setting normally. If it's real cold and/or I'm not driving much, I'll flip it to over boost for a couple of runs.

I just bought one assuming it works for the 4th gen too... Whoops... I'll report back with my results once it shows up...
