Sigh... I want the TRD pro so bad but it reminds me of the Raptor. Ford dealers we’re getting over MSRP for slightly used and 10k over on new. Ended up with a regular one and built it. The pros just so hot though!

Crazy $$, but at least they actually did something performance-wise with the supercharger.



It kind of blows my mind that even at MSRP it is $11k over what I got my ORP from the same dealer last summer.

Central Oregon protection package for $3500?? That is a total and complete scam!!

Almost 10k for a super charger wtf!! That’s like 6k over priced. I wouldn’t ever pay 60k for a 4Runner. They would have to upgrade a whole lot!! I got mine for $1600 under msrp.

Agreed! I hate when a dealership tries to rip me off. I hope no one buys that and they end up eating all those “upgrades.” $60K for a 4runner?? Spend $70K at the end of the year on a new Land Cruiser instead.

Plenty of TRD Pro's sitting around dealer lots where I'm at. My local dealer has at least 2 or 3 Tundra's and Tacoma's each. All selling at MSRP and have sat on the lot for a bit. There's one dealer in town that still has a 2018 Cav Blue Tacoma that's been there for at least 6 months. The segment is getting competitive and I think Toyota probably saturated the market enough to fulfill anyone who wants a TRD Pro. They are nothing special.

Well, they used to be pretty competitively priced. They had a pretty hefty price hike last year. Expect another hefty price hike this coming year with the addition of the larger display and Apple CarPlay, push button start, etc. The bottom line is that you can get a pretty good discount on an off road premium. With the price hikes on the pros and the fact that you are pretty much stuck at paying MSRP, a Pro will now cost you $10K to $12K more than an off road premium. And you’re basically paying that for a set of Fox shocks, wheels and tires and a skid plate. Not a good value for your money. If you want to spend that $10-$12K, buy an off road premium and throw some wheels and tires, shocks and a Magnuson supercharger on it.

I’m not allowed to start a new thread so I have to hijack this one. I love the Calvary blue color, I had a speedway blue taco which was close to it back in the day. Found a dealer that has a 2018 Demo with 3,000 miles on it and there asking $40k. What do you guys think this would be a certified truck not new now which actually would be a better warranty. I’ve always loved these things and would really love the new radio and smart key but I’m not a fan of the green color.

Found a dealer that has a 2018 Demo with 3,000 miles on it and there asking $40k. What do you guys think this would be a certified truck not new now which actually would be a better warranty. I’ve always loved these things and would really love the new radio and smart key but I’m not a fan of the green color.

Thats not a bad deal actually. When I was looking for one before I got my voodoo blue I seen some going for just as much as I paid for my mine.

I think Voodoo is pretty sweet, especially after years of owning gray vehicles. My Ram is Blue Streak Pearl and I love it but the 4Runner is not going anywhere just because of color. In overcast scenarios, Voodoo looks slightly pastel but it still looks better to me than the Cement color which is super popular for some reason.

That seems like a real fair deal IMO. But I love the blue. My wife does not however so it looks like we've settled on Army Green if I go 2020. I doubt the 2020's will go for under MSRP so you'll pay around $48K for the newer model. Is the radio, safety tech and smart key worth $8K to you? For some it may be, especially those who plan on keeping it for 10-15 years.

I paid 48k even for my 2019 pro. i dont think your going to get a 2020 for 48k maybe right before the 2021 comes out. the Msrp went up in 2019 like 3k more then the 18 model so Msrp will prob be 50k with these updates they are doing on a 2020

I regularly see Land Cruisers at big discounts at the end of the year. My dealership had one on the showroom marked down from $82k to $73k. You’ll find the previous model years sitting in Jan-March and I’m pretty sure you could get one for $70K.

My cousin just bought a new 2019 LC for 76K from a Carlsbad dealership in Socal.
I believe sticker was 83K.

Yes, totally different market. I am in New England. All of the dealerships around here usually have 2 or 3 Land Cruisers. There are always unsold leftovers around as well. I just did a quick search of the two closest dealerships to me. One has two Land Cruisers...a 2019 and a leftover 2018. The other just has a leftover 2018. The latter dealership had a leftover 2017 model last spring that they were selling for $73k. Just did a quick search on Edmunds and there are 13 leftover 2018 Land Cruisers within 100 miles. I’m confident that I could play all 13 dealers against one another and get a 2018 for at least the low 70’s. The west coast is an entirely different animal. I can’t believe some of the prices you guys pay out there. If I were on the west coast and looking for a land cruiser I would fly to the east coast, purchase here and just have it shipped home. You would save a significant amount of money.
