VSC TRAC and ABS Codes (Code Readers Wanted)

So, got my temperary ABS sensor wire installed and it worked like a charm. Lights were still on when I started the vehicle, but went off after driving 100 yards or so - sweet!

Could just use the one I made, but think I'll install the one I have on order -- more durable.

Do you have the part number for the wire kit?

Also maybe a link from where you ordered from?

I talked to the dealership again today and they want $240 just to replace those wires, quoting me at $70/each for the wires and 100 for installation...

Someone else posted that you could order the wires for like $40 each.

I kind of understand why the ABS sensors have no connector (i.e. just the sensor and a separate replaceable sub-harness between spindle to body) because of contamination and corrosion issues, but it sure would make these types of issues easier...

Google "Olathe Toyota" or "Toyota Parts" and look for Olathe Toyota. Once at there website enter "ABS sensor wire". They don't provide a part number, but it's #14. I'll provide a part number on Sunday.
