VSC TRAC/VSC Off Lights on After Flat Tire

Recently got a flat tire on my 04 4Runner after brushing a high curb while making a right turn. Didn't have my tire lock key so had to tow it to my Toyota dealership to have the tire changed. The tire was unsavable but no damage to the rim so they replaced it with my full size spare tire. My husband picked the vehicle up for me and the service advisor explained to him and to me on the phone that the Tire Pressure sensor would remain on until the spare is put back into the holder. Had to use the vehicle that night to go to work and as soon as I moved the vehicle the VSC Trac and the VSC Off lights came on. They didn't turn off and did the same thing on my way home later that night. These lights were NOT on prior to having the vehicle towed to the dealership. I spoke to the service advisor the next day and she said the vehicle came into the garage with them on. However nothing was mentioned to me in our conversations that day about having it diagnosed. The only part of the conversation which both my husband and I thought was in regards to the tire pressure sensor being on was that it could have been caused by the tire damege or a low battery and that if it didn't go off I may need to have it diagnosed. Apparently she was taliking about the VSC Trac/VSC OFF lights and not the tire pressure sensor and it would now cost me $99.00 to have it diagnosed to see why they were on.
Could these lights coming on been caused by hitting the curb and wouldnt they reset after the tire was fixed? Also had an oil/filter change done while it was there. Did read in another post about these lights coming on due to an air filter hose not being reconnected after an oil change.
Should I just pay the $99.00 to have it diagnosed now? Anyone have any suggestions?

It possibly could be a damaged ABS sensor or unplugged or something. Sometimes they hire some miserable tech's to work on vehicles and they could've messed it up. Then again, it could be a bad oxygen sensor or something. For the 90 bux Toyota will charge you, might as well go buy an OBDII Scanner from walmart and just pull the codes yourself. This could come in handy in the future also.

make sure everythings connected including behind the wheel that was replaced, (abs sensor wire), make sure ur gas cap is tight, then try disconnecting the - battery term. for 5 min. reconnect & see if the lights are out. theres a few things that may be the problem including alignment being out, & a bad tpms sensor on the wheel that had the flat if the stem was hit by the curb.
