If it comes on and stays on, yes.
Mine didn't happen right after the lift, but a week or two after it had settled.

Just vsc so hope it isn't anything really. I have to drive 180 miles home so... I guess I'll find out!

VSC, ABS, and TRC lights IIRC. Actually, could be the sensor or the wire. I know this from experience.
Just have to hook it up to techstream and look up the codes. When my skid sensor wire broke it told me which wheel and where the problem was. Unfortunately it can't narrow it down to the wire or the sensor. I just started with the wire because it was the cheaper thing to replace and luckily it paid off.

Why would you want to look at the Body Control Module? Wouldn't the Skid Control ECU be a better place to find things like ABS. VSC, and TRAC?
There used to be a way to initiate a self check mode with like a jumper wire and get 2 digit Toyota ABS DTCs that you could reference. I think some of the FSM still show the 2 digits codes as well as the C code lists... so I wonder if it still exists? I'll have to check for it later.

Checked it all out and it is clean. Light still on. It came on when I was going downhill into a tight turn on the freeway going over Donner pass so I'm guessing zero point calibration. I'll take it in Monday but I need to drive it this weekend. Doesnt seem to be anything too serious. I think the VSC is just not functional with the little swerving indicator light staying on.

Nope. Only the warning light for the VSC which is the car swerving. Manual says the VSC needs to be checked if that light stays on. That's why I was a bit interested if anyone else had had just that one light.

Each mfg names and groups the modules differently. I'm familiar with GM and they often group BCM/TCM.. together.. All modern 2000+ cars I have owned allow for some type of diagnostic mode that will display codes/messages on the DIC driver information center, after performing some type of diagnostic sequence to bring up the display. IT comes in super handy. It's typically not in the owners manual but is in the service manual.
The 4runner is the first one I have owned that does not have this capability. It's a bit of a let down. Its also irritating that it won't tell you what tire is low... Every other car I have owned also lets you program the tire pressure sensors with no special tools. Toyota is just really outdated and lacking in this area. Just saying.

I had a wheel speed sensor go bad while changing UCAs. The factory wiring was crushed at the UCA attachment bracket from the factory (so when I relieved the stress to put on the new bracket, it stopped working). In my case it was a complete loss of connectivity and both the ABS and VSC lights came on. I simply tested each wire, since I knew that was most likely the issue.
Your problem may be the same since those wires are suspect after removing the stock UCAs, but I would think the ABS light would be on.

I replaced my ucas a year ago so it sounds odd to me. I'll be interested to see how it turns out though!
