VTX Wheels on 285/60-r18 Toyo's

So I'm in the market for after market wheels. I've never ran anything on my car(s) except stock rims, and I am eager to replace my stock 18". I found a company off Instagram- VTX wheels (https://vtxwheels.com/) and they make some sweet wheels!

The only issue is the 285/60-r18 Toyo's I run are an unusual tire size. And since I run 1.25" wheel spacers (to prevent the tire from sitting on my UCA), I am curious about the configuration with the new wheels. One of the sales reps told me the 18X9 +0 6X139.7 106.1 size will fit the 285/60-r18 as long as I remove my wheel spacers.

Thoughts?

Are you running stock UCA? Mine are stock and I have no rubbing issues with my Toyo’s - 285/65r18, no wheel spacers. Just a simple 3” spacer lift.

Yes, stock UCA. They were sitting on the tire before the wheel spacers, now I they do not. VTX told me that the wheels they make are designed to be a spacer and actually push the tire out nearly 2", therefore I would no longer need the wheel spacers.

Ah okay yeah my wheels are 18x9, not sure what the offset on mine are tho so that could be the reason I didn’t need wheel spacers when I got my lift. My tires sit out of the wheel well around 2” so that sounds about right. If they’re telling you they’d work I’d go ahead and trust their word, this is the business they’re in so they should be correct.

Yeah I hope they'd be right haha. Thanks for the feedback, I'll post pictures of the new wheels in about two weeks.
