Just goto tire discounters and when they scratch your rims trying to mount, they gave me half off my BFG AT KO! Over $500 off and you can barely see the scratches on rims that ill end up scratching anyway.

Discount tire does a great job taking care of customers. It's unfortunate when someone takes advantage of great customer service. While I do not know the entire story, I HIGHLY doubt the installer came to find you in the waiting area and pointed out the scratches and offered you $500 off.

Keep up the good work. Now the rest of us can pay a little more for our tires to make up for you complaining about a few hairline scratches.

I said tire discounters not discount tire. And yes, the service mgr came to me when i picked up the vehicle to point out the scratches/gouges caused by the mounting machine. They offered me all new wheels, but I asked about a discount on the tires instead. We agreed on half off.

You made a bunch of horrible assumptions in your response. I hope you aren't someone's boss or a detective. Ever hear of benefit of doubt?

If tire discounters could properly mount a tire, it wouldn't be an issue. If anything, them having to eat cost will likely raise the issue and force a fix of the mounting machine or the operator. You should be thanking me as future customers will not get scratched rims. You suck at logic!

if you really think, that they will "eat" the cost, you are crazy, they are there to make a profit, so the next customers will pay for your $500 "profit"
