Ok, so after seeing the work of giants like Harper 7, BFLAN and others, I have to admit that I always felt grossly inadequate in my modification skills. Well, I still do- but that is a different issue altogether 
But, I can finally say that I have an original mod that is smart and works really well.
Many of you have installed LED lights inside to replace the dim OEM lights. However, these interior lights cannot be controlled remotely. So, like me, some of you guys have complained about how you are unable to control your cargo area lights from the drivers seat. The mod that I have done allows this and that is its biggest advantage.
I bought these swivel LED lights off of AMAZON (a set of 3) and installed them- one on the dash and two on the pillar between the rear door and the cargo area. The ones on the pillar were installed in such a way that if you swivel them, they can shed light both in the second row area as well as the cargo area. The best thing about these LEDs is that they come with a remote!!! So there- you can keep the remote with yourself and operate all the lights from a single location (remote works up to a distance of 16 feet)!
The lights look great- they have a gun metal finish to them. The way I see it the following are the pros and cons to this mod
Pros
1) Ability to control all interior lights remotely
2) Swiveling feature allows you to focus the lights where ever you want
3) Super bright and designed to last 100,000 hours (that is what the packaging says)
Cons
1) Battery operated (however these LED lights use very little power and I do not believe that I will have to replace the batteries very much)
2) Some might think that the lights do not look good- but who cares they serve a great function and are on the interior
