I'm not sure what you were looking at but the link was good. About halfway down the page you'll see the PDFs for the FSM on the 3rd Gen. You'll need a free google log on but can save the PDFs to your computer.

Alternatively, guys sell the PDFs on eBay usually via CD but sometimes with instant download; example 1, example 2, example 3

I use the electronic version and just print the pages I need and bring them out to the 4Runner when I'm doing the work.
