Washington 5th gen owners Fog light mod

Has anyone in Washington done the fog light mod to allow the fogs to run separately from the headlights? Looking to do the mod where you can still use the steering column stalk to turn them on. If you have done it would you be willing to help me out?

Wish I could help with a 5th gen. I did this mod with my 4th gen and it was pretty easy.

There is a diy on it that is fairly detailed but Im always very hesitant to mess with electrical stuff.
