watches...

I have had my Apple Watch series 2 for awhile now, and joined the heart study program also. So last month i decided to wear my watch to bed so i could monitor my sleep cycle, i did this for maybe 2 nights a week for about a month when i get a message from the Cardiogram app wanting to know if i have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, and offered to send me a free monitor. I have not been diagnosed, but i do snore, and the wife said it sounds like i stop breathing sometimes. I really like my Apple Watch.

Holy sh!t!!! Get the monitor and have it checked out. Getting Sleep Apnea diagnosed early is very important for your future health.

IF you do have it, then that Apple Watch just saved you from major health issues in the future. Trust me.

Yeah, i sent a message to them today. They are going to e-mail me how to get it. I am very happy with Cardiogram at this point.

I know some Seiko "Digital" watches which have square shape. But I am not sure about the square Quartz models. If the shape is not very important to you, I would recommend a Seiko SBCM023 without thinking nor hesitating! I just purchased one today. Their prices are really very inexpensive, too, and batteries are god for 8 years. This is one model which came to my mind and can offer to you.

Second on the Seiko recommendation. I have an SRP series automatic winder. Great watches.

I really like Citizen for the quality and price. Don’t wear it all the time but I purchased a silver/blue Citizen Stiletto a few years back and love it. The stiletto is very thin and it has a smaller rectangle face so it is very minimalistic which fits my style the best.

Casio G-Shock AWG-M100 Solar....the 4Runner of watches. 8 years and counting, no issues, same battery since it's charged daily from the built in solar panel.

Apple Watch dominance: Luca Maestri (Apple CFO) said that wearables saw 60 percent growth in revenue terms. Adding up the last four quarters, wearables revenue now exceeds $10 billion.

Ten billion dollars in four quarters. TEN BILLIONS...and change. Think about that...one year, $10 billion PLUS revenue.

And despite Apple Watch being labeled as a “flop” early on, Apple is now the top watch manufacturer with probably the highest revenue.

Just crazy, isn't it?

how many SKX007/9 owners are here? I feel like that's the watch equivalent of the 4runner - japanese, built like a tank, will last forever

The upcoming Apple Watch Series 4:

Was just rudely reminded I own a Z-serial Submariner Date today having sent the frickin' thing to Toronto for much belated servicing (4 years late)... $300 shipping back and forth, $1K+ for servicing minus any parts. Timex, Casio... looking awfully good right now

Wow?!! Why is shipping so much??? $1k servicing expected. Damn that’s rough for shipping!

That's what expedited courier costs sending a little packet insured for $10K up here. The jewelers don't generally use Canada Post as a rule so I'm told. I just priced it myself, actually getting an amazing deal going through an authorized dealer in town if you can believe it... Sending it myself UPS without a commercial account is almost CA$950 insured round trip. Insanity. =/

Not sure why...but this is mesmerizing:

I keep it simple with a Casio G shock model GST-S100G-1BCR. These suckers are damn near indestructable. It looks great, solar powered and tough as nails.
