Water running from tailpipe

When I bought my 89 I was told the head gasket was blown so I got some red devil to try. Before using I wanted to bypass my heater core and leave all the flow in the engine so I made a bypass tube from front to back. I haven't started the truck in months when I started it to see if my tube was going to leak I noticed water running from the tailpipe under the truck where the cat used to be there's a pipe now and is leaking and that's where the water is running from. Could I have made this happen from the bypass tube I installed?

No but not running the truck for months will create this effect

Bypassing the heater core will not cause your tailpipe to leak water.

A blown head gasket can though.

Water from the tail pipe is normal, if its coolant you have a problem.

You losing coolant?

When you start car the very first time in the morning, when engine and coolant are cold, with radiator cap off, do you see coolant in radiator bubbling?

I will have to check on the water bubbling last time I looked with the cap off don't remember bubbling but it was flowing pretty well.
