Water Spilling into passenger and front drivers feet!

Hey guys, im a newbie here. I drive a 2000 4runner. For whatever reason, there is water that is leaking from behind my radio unit in the car and is spilling onto my feet while I'm driving and also the passenger seat. It seems the water is collecting around that area and when I make a left turn it just spills out like a waterfall and soaks my shoes! Its making the interior of my baby smell like dirty socks!

Anyone encounter this or know what the issue is? I'm assuming its the AC unit not properly disposing of the condensation....

Any input would be helpful! Thanks in advance!

I had a similar problem with my maxima and it was the drain tube on the condensor that was clogged up... mine was under the passenger fender well... i think its located on the passenger fire wall on the runner...

Hey thanks for your help! What did you do to fix it?
I figure I'll have to take out the stereo or something to get to the AC.

Usually you can clear the tube by gently inserting a pipe cleaner. You don't want to deeper than the tube is long. The aluminum evaporator is fragile and depending on how close it is to the drain tube you may poke it if you go too deep.

Not sure if you have access to compressed air... You can usually blow some air up the drain tube as well to loosen up whatever is causing the clog.

Also check coolant levels and make sure its not dropping. Could also be the heater core.
