Lots of us 5th gen people have the weathertech floor liners. My TEP came with them from the dealer as an incentive, now I need to get some for my fiancées TEP. Where's the cheapest place you got yours?

Amazon is the cheapest I found. Check though, I think someone posted the most recent Toyota mats which looks like they had coverage of the weather techs, but they were slightly cheaper.
 
I got mine from Amazon, after checking all over. With prime shipping it was the best. I love my weathertech.

EDIT: I have weathertech floor mats, husky rear cargo mat. Husky was much nicer.

I'll keep saying it again. Weathertech's are a ripoff.

Check out 3D Maxpider. They are stronger and don't get discolored like weathertech's. No I don't work for 3D Maxpider. I just used to work in the car industry and saw their product at SEMA. I was blown away. I have a set in my car and won't ever go back to weathertechs again.

Cheaper, stronger, better materials... The only reason people buy Weathertechs is because of their brand name and familiarity with it. I'd even go with Husky before I go with Weathertech's again.

I got mine from a group buy on here a while back; I believe it was about $150 for a full set including shipping. Otherwise I'd check Amazon and use my Prime free shipping.

I will also say that the WeatherTech cargo area liner is only "form fitting" if you have the slide-out tray. It's just a rectangle and doesn't extend into the side pockets. Husky is the clear choice for that area.

I haven't had any problems with my Weathertech (front, mid) or Husky (rear), but if I were buying today I'd at least give MAXpider a hard look.

would the 2016 model of these fit a 17? I'm noticing not many companies are showing compatibility with 2017s.
 
I've been trying to offload mine and put in OE floor mats (carpet or all-weather). The logo came off a long time ago, they always look "dirty", and it cheapens the interior look of the vehicle, in my opinion.

But yeah, about $150 is what I keep seeing.

3D Maxpider appear to be a Chinese copy of the weathertechs... Something to keep in mind if that's important to you.

A chinese copy of the weathertech? The weathertech product is inferior to the 3D Maxpsider, how's that a copy?

First of all, the weathertechs are non-textured and are extremely thin. It's just the liner and that's it. The 3D maxpider has this textured surface that makes it tougher and more scratch resistant. Second, 3D maxpider has this anti-skid lining on the bottom so they won't move around. The weathertech has no anti-skid option.

They look nothing a like, but one is by far stronger than the other. I've gotta find someone local who has weathertechs to compare against mine and you'll be amazed at the quality difference.

Are these 3D mats a fabric type material rather than traditional rubber/plastic? I think they are, and a co worker has them and they do not clean easier once ground in dirt/mud gets into the fibers. His look awful now, whereas my wethertechs/husky's can be cleaned and sprayed with areospace 303, armoural, etc and look new again.
 
I think [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] has some shag carpet from his childhood you gentleman can borrow. Absorbs vs. pools water, will not tear and is not slick. Also, pending shipping prices should be fairly cheap. Replace as needed

I have weathertechs but would be open to other options, as stated above, they are well known but on the pricey side and I have found mine to discolor, the badge came off but they have served their purpose well. however with Lawdarts bracket mounted its a very tight fit and something without a lip would be more idea but then you have nothing to keep large amounts of melted snow water from getting onto the carpet, . That's said, I did not go with Weather Techs for the wife's car, OEM all weathers fit the bill nicely.

They have both. I have the rubber/plastic can. Just hose down and done. I don't know about the carpeted ones. And because these are textured, you don't need to spray anything on them again to make them look new again. Just water down and you're done.

Anyways, it's obvious I'm a big fan of this product and just wanted people to look into them as an option. I shouldn't downplay weathertechs. I've just owned them myself and was so dissapointed at how they held up. For that kind of money, I would have thought they should have lasted longer.

3D does make some carpeted mats and perhaps that is what your coworker has. The Kagu version are a knit looking rubber surface. IMO they are easier to clean than the Weathertechs (I have the Kagu's in 5th gen and Weathertechs in 3rd gen). The Weathertechs seem to retain a dirt film on them even after scrubbing. You mention spraying 303 Aerospace and while that will make them shiny and clean looking, it's just the same effect as spraying your engine bay with silicone and having a wet, shiny look even though it's dirty as hell. It will also make for a quite slippery surface on the mats.

The 3D's are a Chinese product which is a minus in my book, but I do think they are a better product than the Weathertechs. Aries Automotive relabels them for their catalog. I bought my bro-in-law some all weather mats for his new Tacoma and the consensus there was Husky x-act contours > than Weathertechs. Husky's American, and they are more pliable than the hard plastic Weathertechs as are the 3D Kagus.

What I use. I hate plastic floors. I use the all weather OEM rubber mats and put these over top of them. No mess, no problems.
They last forever too.

I have a full set of OE carpet (front, middle and rear) if you're interested. Took them out the day I bought my 2016 4Runner so they are pristine.

I also have weathertechs and really like them functionally but the fairly quick discoloration is annoying. I have the black ones and after this winter the drivers side has faded quite a bit. In hindsight I think I should have gone with the grey colored ones.
