Weight of LT 265/70/17

What is the weight of a Goodyear Duratrac tire in a LT 265/70/17 (Load Range C) ?

My Cooper AT3's (Load range C) weigh in at 50 lbs, and the BFG's weight in at 44 .2 lbs.

You sure that the Cooper weighs 50 lbs? I had the AT3s in P285/70-17 and they were only 44 lbs. each on my scales. The 265/70 should go that much or less.

I never weighed my LT265/70/17 Cooper AT3's, I'm going by what Cooper emailed me when I asked them. Your 285's were "P" rated, and LT tires are heavier without a doubt.

Maybe, maybe not. LT "C" rated tires actually have a lower load capacity than "P" rated tires. I just don't see how a smaller tire with similar construction could weigh 6 lbs. more.

But, in any case I was just wondering. No biggie...
