agreed with awz...the only time I could see or justify welding a spider set would be to get you out of the woods and home. When it breaks (and it will) think of where you'll be when it does...deep in mud, 100 miles from home, and usually where no wrecker can get to you. Invest in a good locker (air or otherwise)...spools are hard as hell on stock axles, especially on pavement, which means more money spent when the axles sheer off...call ARB or someone reputable, and save yourself the heartache, not to mention the money.
