Wow, do you really want to open this can of worms?? where to start... First obviously the U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom of religion. It also requires the federal government to "provide for a common defense", So if some pacifist wants to live in a country that doesn't need a military, good luck finding one! You'd have to be incredibly ignorant to think the U.S. doesn't need one, and one that yes sometimes needs to kill bad guys.
And the birth control issue; obviously there's a risk of this thread going nuts on such a volatile topic.

I for one don't believe the government has any business forcing all of us to pay for contraception; how does that prevent illness or improve health of citizens? At what point as our national debt climbs past $17 trillion do we say we're paying for enough things?
You might as well pick something random like: for everyone that wears contact lenses for vision correction; lets tax the whole nation and give everyone that wants contacts, give it to them for free!
Or worse; everyone that can't afford a cell phone, let's give them one for free! oh wait, Obama's already doing that :frusty:
