Heading to work this morning and just thinking of " Hey its Friday " when this happens. My truck is 8 months old with 5400 miles on it. I am sitting in the right turn lane waiting for light to turn green. This chick in Jeep Grand Cherokee blows through a red light at about 50 mph. Nails the Chrysler Concord sends it in a spin. Then continues to hit the BMW and now her Jeep is going airborne and coming at me. There was no where for me to go so she flips on her drivers side and her roof lands on my drivers side rear quarter. WTF , I am a volunteer fire fighter so I call dispatch and so on and so forth. To shorten the story. I am fine, the two women she hit are okay. After cribbing up the Jeep I moved my vehicle out of the way so the emergency personal could do their thing. The driver of the Jeep was extricated out of vehicle and taken to the hospital complaining of abdominal pain. Probably from her seat belt. It sucks that my truck was involved but the damage could have been a lot worse and I may not be here to talk about. she could have landed airborne into my driver seat. I have a great body man for repairs and it will look like new again in a few weeks. Looks like he will have to weld in a left rear quarter panel, new tail light, rear bumper skin and respray the tailgate.Tail light put a few chips on edge of tailgate but no damage otherwise. I hope everyone elses day started out on a better note then mine. Main thing no one was seriously hurt. =)
