I'm contemplating this purchase but I'm a bit nervous. Any recent updates?

I'd expect to have lots of recent feedback. I'm not sure if lack of feedback is a good thing or a bad thing.

No real updates... I have not been beating on the truck at all just commuting with it. No problems.. runs fine. I do still need to install their update before any more beat down sessions as there apparently were some issues with the first release of the tune that caused some issues.

The update process is a bit of a pain as the vehicle has to be down for at least a day while files are emailed back....Will report back after that, but I don't expect much of a change. Maybe a bit less power is all.

It's ALIVE!!!!!!!

First impressions...

- Way more power...
- Drives smooth and does not feel like it is straining
- Can't even hear the blower until you really get on it.
- 2-3psi at med throttle around 2500 RPMs with hardy anything noticed but more torque.
- truck is actually quieter at idle.. guess the blower hides some of the top end noise it made before

I need more seat time before I can give a full review, but it feels like 35-40% more power overall. Only had an hour in it tonight and still need to hook up my gauge to get RPM along with boost and AFR logged (it's getting boost and AFR now). Saw just under 7psi at times. Mostly around 6.x

Still felt it holding back from a dig, but that is probably my exh rattle causing KR or just the torque mgt kicking in. I'm guessing they don't disable that to help hold the drivetrain together, because I'm sure it would roast the tires... otherwise. From a 15mph roll it will lift the front end to full droop and pin you back pretty good. So much so, that it is hard to see the road. Some of this is my gears too...

Here is my first time to get into any boost at all. Not really WOT, but I let it downshift at about 45mph and make some boost. This was literally my first time to get into any boost, so I was being careful. I'll have some more video and impressions coming soon.

Just wanted to get something out since it has been such a long wait. Look for some off-road action videos next week.

Any insight on how you mounted and plumbed your boost gauge? Any special mount for your scan gauge or did you just velcro it?

Well, the one for the 3rd gen runs $2900. So I'm betting this will be in the $4995 range based off the Tacoma & FJ cost.
