What are you all doing New Year's Eve?

I have to work. Then sleep New Year's Day and work again New Year's night. Screw the double-pay, i have to wait another year to celebrate.

Done that before on 4th of July. Got caught and seen by my supervisor partying and stuff. lol I don't think she'll believe me anymore especially on New Year's Eve.

Im going to boil up some crab legs and some lobster and a few shrimp watch a couple of movies or some music or both , have rip roaring fire in the fire place and staying home ..... it's beginners night out.....lol.

I'm just hanging out with a few friends and drink a few drinks at home and then spend the next day on the couch watching football.

I'll be up in a cabin in TN. Then for New Year's day I'll be doing the same as Ron, watching my Tigers play.

Family Tradition

Pretty much the same as Falls (sans the seafood!). For years when the kids were small we would "camp out" in the family room watching movies all night, sleeping in our bags with the fireplace on. We would pig out on various types of junk food and alcoholic beverages (for the parents anyway).

The two oldest girls are either working this year or hanging out with their friends. That leaves the wife and I with the youngest girl (11). We will probably skip the "camping out" part and not make it past 1:00 or 2:00 am !

As Falls says - New Year's Eve is amateur night. A few years ago we went out to a nice hotel for dinner, dancing, etc. A bunch of younger couples ending up getting in a fight. The cops arrived and we left.
